RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR WEDDING
THE UNDERSIGNED AGREED TO OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OLMC PARISH CHURCH AND ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHAPEL-FERNWOOD GARDEN FOR WEDDING:
1. RESERVATIONS
a. Reservations should be done not later than two (2) months prior to the wedding date.
b. St. Francis Chapel. No Fernwood Garden Contract, No Reservation.
c. For Representatives/Coordinators, present a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) upon reservation. (No SPA, No Reservations)
d. In case of reservation is made two months before the wedding date, all pertinent papers should be submitted one week after the reservation is made.
2. DEPOSIT
a. A deposit of Four Thousand Pesos (Php4,000.00) is required upon booking and/or submission of partial documents and full payment is required after canonical interview.
b. For Chancery Case Wedding. Down payment is not required. Full payment is upon the released of the clearance form the chancery office of Diocese of Cubao.
c. Fees should be paid preferably in cash. However, if check should be issued, it should be done ten (15) banking days before the wedding. Check must be paid to the OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL PARISH, not post dated.
d. Fees are non refundable.
3. CANCELLATION/CHANGES OF SCHEDULE
a. In case of cancellation, a written advice to the OLMC Parish Office is required.
b. The deposit is automatically forfeited and it is not transferable to any other person (relatives/friends) for any other occasion. It will be automatically serve as a donation to the church programs for our poor parishioners.
c. In case of changing the date time of wedding, a written advice is required that the desired date is still available. However, such an advice must be done not later than one month before previous wedding schedule, otherwise reservation will be forfeited.
4. REQUIREMENTS FOR WEDDING
a. All pertinent papers should be completed and submitted two (2) months (or earlier) before the wedding date.
b. Validity of all requirements is six months prior to the wedding date.
c. For those working abroad, photo copy of passport and visa should be submitted upon confirmation of reservation not later than four (4) months before the wedding.
d. The couple should attend the canonical interview (after completing all pertinent papers) two (2) weeks prior to the wedding day given every Wednesdays and Fridays. NO SPECIAL CANONICAL INTERVIEW.

5. PUNCTUALITY
a. The bride and the groom and all the members of the wedding entourage, the soloists/singers and organists invited by the couple should be at the church premises 30 minutes before the wedding schedule. or
Ø 15 minutes, there will be no more pictorials;
Ø 30 minutes late, there will be no more homily and prayers of the faithful;
Ø 45 minutes, there will just be wedding rite and no more mass.
6. OFFICIATING PRIEST
a. In case the couple will have their own officiating priest, the parish should be advised and submit a photo copy of “License to Solemnize Marriage” and “CELEBRET ID” of the officiating priest not later than two (2) weeks before the wedding date. Otherwise, the parish will automatically assign any of the resident priests to officiate the scheduled nuptial. Should the couple insist on bringing their own priest, he (the invited priest) will only be allowed to concelebrate with the resident priest.
b. In case of mixed marriages, the Parish will not allow any form of rite, ceremony or speeches to be conducted by other sect or religion.
7. SOLEMNITY
a. To preserve the solemnity of the wedding ceremony, holders of cellphones, and other communication gadgets are requested to turn off or switch it to silent mode; likewise, every one is refrain from unnecessary conservations and movements.
8. WEDDING ENTOURAGE/MISALLETTE/OTHERS
a. Only 8 pairs of ninongs and ninangs are normally allowed so that the ceremony may not unduly extend the time allotted for the processional march.
b. It is not obligatory for couples to come up with their own wedding missalettes. However, those who wish to do so must follow the wedding liturgy approved by the church. Alterations or any additions made by the couple to the approved liturgy will not be allowed.
c. Doves, bubbles, confetti and others will not be allowed as extended greetings inside the church/chapel. This should be done outside the open-spaced façade. For SFA Chapel, butterflies are prohibited even outside the open-spaced façade
d. It is recommended that the commentators and readers will be coming from the couple.
e. It is expected that those who will assigned will observe modesty in dressing and maintain a respectable posture during the ceremony
9. PICTORIAL AFTER THE WEDDING
a. the pictorial should only be taken fifteen minutes after the ceremony and the sequence is as follows:

3. Couple with principal sponsors
4. Couple with secondary sponsors
5. Couple with Both Parents
6. Couple with Bride’s Immediate Family
7. Couple with Bride’s Family and Relatives
8. Couple with Groom’s Immediate Family
9. Couple with Groom’s Family and Relatives
10. Couple with Friends
10. WEDDING COORDINATORS / REPRESENTATIVES
a. The couple should notify the Parish Office if they have wedding coordinators.
b. Wedding Coordinators / Representative should present a Special Power Attorney (SPA) before signing this agreement.
11. Other changes made by the couple should be accompanied with necessary documents/letters.
